You seem really cool and you’ve interacted with some of my stuff before and I don’t fit into any other dni criteria.. except for one of my fandoms. So I guess my question is- how far does that extend, what exactly counts as “knowing you beforehand”, does that mean no new people you meet who happen to be in those fandoms can interact, etc? I just would like the specifics, because I really don’t want to overstep your boundaries and am not fully clear on it. What was your first thought that led to this story?

She had a favourite doctor who would come in and play board games with her when he had time. She also liked how he didn't treat her as a little kid and would explain her sickness to her. She just called him Doctor though...

Her favorite nurse was nurse Amelie, who would take her outside to the gardens and read to her. Sometimes when Nurse Amelie had an off day, she offers to take Delphi to the shore and brings medical stuff along.

Though, Delphi does often wonder where he's been, lately all the nurses and doctors have been new faces that it unsettled her and makes her sadder then usual.

Why yes I am :) 4.How do you channel characters' voices and personalities? Actual Dialogue is the big one for me I think, internal or otherwise. And I'm a very action oriented writer, so I end up thinking a lot about, like... "what is this character thinking, and how does that show in what they do. What do they want everyone ELSE to think about them and how does that show." And on and on into layers deep forever.

11.Are there any tropes that you particularly enjoy writing?

I guess you would call it 'getting together'? Though not always even in the romantic sense. I just really like thinking about how characters meet and how their relationships begin and develop.

15. Do you plan your fics or prefer to let the story unfold as you write? A little of both... I'll write out a whole outline of plot beats from start to finish for most of the things I want to write, but there's a lot of room for the story to change and grow as I go, and I'm not afraid to change the whole plot if the story feels like it needs to go somewhere else.

28. What's the most ambitious or challenging fic you've ever written? I mean... It's got to be Just a Concerned Citizen, right? It's still the longest thing I've ever written, it's got a complete story arc and it's even got a Mystery in it... it feels crazy that its been 3 years... someone let me stay home and write another novel...

Hello Anon! Thank you for such kind words! (totally not publishing this out of my drafts after lie two months)

First of all, physical shifters are very recluse about their experiences, due to multiple reasons, and have kept their experiences tucked away to only private chats. One reason is because of the literally feral new people in the community who want nothing more than to physically shift RIGHT NOW. Another is because of how physical shifters have a horrible stigma attached. Physically shifting is hard to talk about in places that arent accepting of it, so it's really, really, hard to find if you dont know where to look.

I've met like... 4, maybe 5 physical shifters just wandering around and chatting with people? Shortly afterwards though, they tend to disappear and never return ever again. Many physical shifters that I've met don't see a reason to stay in the community once they physically shift, and decide to leave usually.

Personally for me, I do believe that it's possible. My logic behind it is that it cannot be explained by logic nor science, as far as I've seen no one has been able to accurately use the science we know now to explain it properly without completely destroying their own theory on accident. I'm not sure though. It's possible that physically shifting may just shift us to a parallel reality where it is possible, but if we were to bring in reality shifting, technically any decision we make causes us to reality shift, so I simply see it as possible within this realm lol.

Not to mention the fact that mental shifting is explained most commonly because that's what is most commonly experienced. Most of the time, shapeshifters will spend... not even one percent of their lives physically shifting. But we will spend most of our lived experiencing other forms of shifting, so that's why you have been having trouble finding physical shifters.

one of my favorite things about mandela is that it's made of wax :') superficially, it's very human-like, but its insides are all red wax. in its chest, where the silhouette of its ribs would be, is an empty cavity with a single red candle. and it lights up when mandela experiences strong emotions! this, in turn, makes it "cry" in a sense. the wax leaks out of its eyes, so it resembles crying i guess. since it's made of wax, mandela doesn't have tear ducts anyhow hfsgjfsgh
